Beginning August 11, 2025, the section of Norford Lake Road between New Boston Road and Ladeau Road will be closed for the installation of a new, larger culvert. Work will be completed by Northwoods Excavating, Inc. of Thetford, VT, with the following schedule:
- Road Closure Begins: August 11, 2025
- Culvert Installation, Paving, and Guardrail Installation: August 2025
- Anticipated Road Reopening: End of August 2025
Through traffic will be diverted to Rte. 132 via Stowell Rd.
During this project, the group of mailboxes on Norford Lake Road will be temporarily relocated to Ladeau Road and will be reinstalled once work is complete.
Please note: This section of Norford Lake Road will be closed to all vehicle traffic, including emergency vehicles.
