Would you like to help craft what Norwich village will look and feel like in the coming years?
Over the next few months the Norwich Planning Commission will lead an effort to create a Norwich Village master plan. We will hold forums, collect comments, talk with our neighbors, and use surveys to stimulate conversation and capture ideas. Then we will distill these thoughts into a set of high priority objectives and actions, including implementation details with possible funding methods.
To facilitate this effort the Planning Commission has created a Village Plan Steering Committee of community members representing a wide range of perspectives. The Steering Committee will work with a consultant to engage the Norwich community and draft this plan. We will provide useful background information and ask thought provoking questions to help develop a comprehensive plan.
Members of the Steering Committee and our Norwich Planning Director are working now to plan the public engagement phase.

This group will be able to answer questions and explain how you can get engaged. With our consultant’s help they will organize upcoming events, including forums on a variety of topics like housing, road safety and town services.
