The Town Clerk’s office is responsible for the administration of all elections, maintaining and recording land records and vital records, issuing dog, marriage, hunting and fishing licenses, and maintaining the town’s archives and board and committee minutes. The Town Clerk also coordinates meetings of and acts as clerk for the Boards of Abatement and Civil Authority.

Land Records: Our land records are now online back to 1983. You can access these records via Cott Systems (additional convenience fees may apply for online downloads). These documents as well as older land records can also be accessed in person in our vault, where a research fee of $4 per hour and a copying fee of $1 per page apply. Please make an appointment with Judy to access the vault.
