Development Review Board

The Norwich Development Review Board (DRB) was created in 2003 to replace the Zoning Board of Adjustment and assume the permitting authority of the Planning Commission.

The DRB meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7pm in the multi-purpose meeting room of Tracy Hall. We conduct public hearings on applications for subdivisions, variances, conditional use permits, site development plan review, planned unit developments, and appeals from decisions by the Zoning Administrator. Questions relating to upcoming public hearings or planned development in town should be directed to the Zoning Administrator, Phil Dechert, at 649-1419 Ext 4 orpdechert@norwich.vt.us.
