VTrans PUBLIC INFORMATION MTG

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Norwich, VT – A Public Informational Meeting on the project listed below will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 beginning at 6:30 PM during the regularly scheduled selectboard meeting.  The meeting will be held by the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) and Town of Norwich.  Directions with a link to the online zoom meeting can be found on the Town’s website prior to the meeting. 

Bridge rehabilitation project:

The recommended alternative includes a bridge rehabilitation with traffic maintained on crossovers during construction. 

The intent of the meeting is to provide an overview of this bridge rehabilitation project to Town Officials, local residents and businesses, emergency services and other interested parties. There will be a review of the existing site conditions, proposed work, and overall schedule followed by a question and answer period.  Representatives from both VTrans and the Town of Norwich will be available at the meeting to address public concerns about the project.
