The State-mandated reappraisal will begin this month. KRT Appraisal (the reappraisal firm) has sent the identification information for the two individuals that will be collecting data on each property, including an exterior and interior inspection of your home. The Listers have registered the data collectors with the Norwich Police Department and their photos and vehicles will be posted on the Town website shortly. They will arrive with a property record card from our current database to update as they collect the information from their visit to your property. Property inspections will begin the week of July 17, 2023 and postcards will be mailed about July 10, 2023 to the first group of property owners. Please watch for this postcard from the Norwich Board of Listers. If you do not receive a postcard in July, you will be in a future group scheduled for inspection. We anticipate the inspections to continue into the fall and winter months and finish in the spring of 2024.
